somehow, by following my never say no/do whatever shows up theory, i have managed to arrange my summer. when school ends at the end of may i will have a week off, then will be taking certification classes the first three weeks of june; then two weeks off, then teach art camps at the children’s home in the afternoon for three weeks in july, then another couple of weeks off and then school will start again for me august 13. i have no idea if this will give me enough money to make it, but it will give me some.
don’t know what i’ve gotten myself into this time but there i am.

didn’t know how else to reach you; wanted to tell you my mom passed away this weekend in San Francisco at age 97. I’ll be there this weekend for the funeral. She was in and out of the real world for the last few years ("with the faeries” as they say in England) but was able to live in assisted living and stay in S.F. as she had wanted. She never required nursing care or hospitalization and for that we are extremely thankful!
