life ain’t bad right now

dysentery over, for the most part.  fever gone. freakout gone.  went back to work on friday and made it through.  still have another day until i go back again, and then just four days on and then four days off for easter.  then it’s a longish slog until may 24 and the paychecks stop until august, but i don’t think i’m all THAT far from making it through and maybe will only have to augment but $1000 or less, we’ll see.  maybe i can pick up enough over the summer--i’m scheduled to see somebody on monday about a parttime job teaching at a children’s home, so we’ll see--so i won’t have to borrow much.  i seem to have recovered from my job fears somewhat, too, if only by Not Thinking about them; my colleagues at the school at which i taught on Friday helped by laughing with me.  meanwhile, went to the yarn studio for a few hours yesterday and once again realized that the charm of that place has gone for me, too, what’s next?

thinking about going to church this easter, which would begin today.  still some reluctance, but the vote’s out until 11:00 on whether that will be overcome today, or next week or some other time.
