now this is a truism. to wit:  was just contacted by an old flame that went out a quarter of a century ago (at least.) not on this blog, but via another blog.  i’m not even sure how, actually, but there it is.

i continue to think everybody is dead but it continues apparent that i am mistaken.  lord knows who’s out there i haven’t thought about, lurking along, trying to decide to connect.  i do know, of course, who’s NOT out there...but…
