For some reason, I think Boot is going to like this woman’s name
For Boot
Thanks Keith. Boots make me happy. There’s something circular in that thought, but I’m not sure what.
No, no king cake practice yet. Too damn hot for the oven. Stove top, yes. Oven-baking, no.
To save me continuing to carry on about the weather, here’s my nearest weather stations for you e (can you remove the links from my comment when you’ve read ‘em)?
i was gonna remove the whole second posting, but apparently the delete function doesn’t work for me yet. the links were in celsius, but anyway, I have you loaded into my sidebar, as i do the location of most scriners (except keith, for which there is no data, what is it, keith, do you live in a hole?) it says at the moment it is 97 fahrenheit there.
so i guess this does not bode well for king cakes, then. no mind, they don’t do them in New Orleans in august, either. we’ll have to do the dress rehearsal on skype at a more profitable time.
What a banana I made of that. My work server was well buggered.
Still, grudknows is made of tougher stuff than me. Maybe her oven-turning-on rules are different to mine…
very interesting…
Baking cake is really fun, we can create designs of our own. whatever we would like our cake to look like, it is up to us. As long as it still taste delicious.

Thanks Keith. Boots make me happy. There’s something philosophical in that, but I’m not sure what.
No, no practice king cake bake as yet. Too hot! Turn the oven on? Are you insane?!
I cook in summer (love my cookin’), but I won’t turn on the oven in mid 30s weather (it’s 38 today [100.4]).
